The 412th “Nemesis” Battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is a specialized combat unit established in 2023 with a primary focus on unmanned aerial warfare. Unlike traditional infantry formations, the battalion was created specifically to operate as a high-efficiency drone strike and reconnaissance unit, reflecting the increasing importance of UAV technology in modern conflict. From its inception, Nemesis has been structured to deliver precision effects on the battlefield, targeting enemy equipment, logistics, and personnel while minimizing risk to Ukrainian forces.

The battalion is commanded by Yurii Fedorenko, under whose leadership it has developed into a highly capable and technologically advanced formation.
