About
NAUDI (National Association of Ukrainian Defense Industries) is a Ukrainian defense industry association founded in 2020 and headquartered in Kyiv, Ukraine. It was created to unite private Ukrainian manufacturers of military and dual-use products into a single organization capable of representing the interests of the domestic defense sector. Since its creation, NAUDI has become one of the important voices of Ukraine’s private military-industrial community.
The association brings together companies working in a wide range of sectors, including armored vehicles, artillery systems, drones, ammunition, radar technologies, electronic warfare, reconnaissance systems, secure communications, engineering equipment, and other defense-related products. Many member companies are involved in supplying the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other national security institutions.
NAUDI’s main mission is to strengthen Ukraine’s domestic defense manufacturing base and improve the competitiveness of Ukrainian companies both locally and internationally. The organization works to create fair market conditions, support industrial modernization, attract investment, and promote exports of Ukrainian-made defense products. It also encourages closer cooperation between private manufacturers and government institutions.
Another important role of the association is helping member companies navigate regulations, procurement procedures, certification requirements, and access to state contracts. NAUDI also promotes the adoption of NATO standards and integration with European defense markets, which is increasingly important for Ukraine’s long-term security strategy.
As Ukraine continues expanding its private defense sector, NAUDI plays a strategic role in turning domestic industrial capacity into a modern, competitive, and internationally connected defense ecosystem.
